Derm fillers

Injectable derm fillers have added new dimensions to the field of anti-aging, allowing new forms of facial rejuvenation and wrinkle treatment without surgery.  Injectable skin and wrinkle fillers are used to increase tissue volume (as with lip augmentation), reduce wrinkles, and improve skin’s overall contour.

As the dermal fillers have the property to return the dermis to its original youthful state, nowadays they are very popular amongst those women who want to stop the aging process and to remove the signs of aging. There are many types of fillers that restore and reshape the obvious signs of facial aging, delivering long lasting results.  Call for a free consultation today.

                Benefits of Derm Fillers
  • Restore volume and fullness in the face
  • Soften and restore facial lines
  • Reduce and improve the appearance of fine lines, creases and recessed scars
  • Enhance lip fullness
  • Add volume to the skin creating youthful appearance
  • Remove frown lines between the eyes
  • Treat and fill acne scars
  • Reduce crows feet and wrinkles around the nose and mouth
  • Plump out hollow cheeks
  • Reshape nose tip or chin
  • Add shape and contour to the face
  • Replace soft tissue volume loss

What is Sclerotherapy?

Sclerotherapy involves using a very fine needle to inject a solution directly into your Spider or Varicose veins.  The solution either eliminates or minimizes blood within these veins, for an improved appearance.

Spider veins – a telangiectasis, or chronic dilation of the capillaries in the legs – a common problem that particularly affects women.  These small purple, blue or red veins can form anywhere in the leg.  Varicose veins are larger, sometimes raised, and most often blue in color.  They can be painful, producing a burning or throbbing sensation.

The procedure usually last from 15 to 40 minutes.  The practitioner will assess your veins and estimate how long it will take.   During the procedure you will feel small needle sticks and possibly a mild burning sensation.   However, the needle used is so thin and the sclerosing solution is so mild that pain is usually minimal if any at all.  Compression tape is applied during the procedure.

Tight-fitting compression stocking or support hose will be prescribed to guard against blood clots and to promote healing.  The tape and cotton balls can be removed after 24 hours.   However, you should wear the support hose for at least 72 hours and it is recommended that for the best results you wear them 2 to 4 weeks.  The compression stocking come in a variety of styles and colors and look like reqular hose.
